PMP® Exam pattern
PMP® certification exam consists of 200 questions that need to be answered in 4 hours. Off the 200, 175 questions are counted for scored and the remaining 25 questions are pre-test ones that are scattered across the 5 domains. These 25 pre-test questions help PMI monitor the question’s performance to identify whether they can be included in future tests or not. The 200 questions come from the 5 process groups/phases.

What is the passing score of PMP® Exam?
PMI officially doesn’t specify a passing percentage for PMP® exam. Please feel free to confirm the same with the PMI Customer care. However until 2006, a 61% passing percentage was mentioned in PMP handbook. Since then, it is said that the minimum mark to qualify PMP® varies for each exam and is based on the exam’s difficulty and on the global scores of exam takers. From this it can be inferred that each question has varied difficulty and score associated with it.
